Reflection on Evidence #1
I have always prioritized a healthy lifestyle. This includes Running, Hiking, Cycle Commuting , yoga and working out at the gym. I try to eat healthy as much as I can. By having many hobbies that are healthy I hope that students will see me as a positive role model. By having healthy hobbies that I deeply care about I think that students will see me as a role model for healthy living. Hopefully I can inspire some of them to take up their own hobbies.
The first photo of myself is me before running my first half- marathon in Calgary in 2012. I put in lots of effort training and found ways to fit in my runs during my busy university schedule. It was a hard race but it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Training for races has shown me that it is important to enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
The second photo is me on a hiking trip in Strathcona Provincial Park. I have a passion for the outdoors. This passion has lead me to try and live in a more sustainable way. I often bike commute to cut down on my carbon foot print, I recycle and I try to buy local produce. I want students to see how important the environment is and what we can do to preserve it.

Evidence # 2 Final Practicum report
During my Final Practicum at Timberline my supervisor, Craig Gillis, a model representative of the teaching profession. I have many connections with other teachers during my time at Timberline and was always open to help out with other teachers projects or extra curricular activities. I felt that the relationships that I build in a short time allowed me to be viewed by other teachers as a colleague not just a student teacher. I was asked to share Ideas during the professional development day and my input was sought out a few times when talking about new curriculum implementation. I have read the TRB standards and BCTF code of ethics and try to keep them at the back of my mind at all times.
